Lenovo A6000 - The best among the rest

I was a Samsung mobile user for quite some time, but my friends who started exploring new brands made myself try one. Realised that the market is flooded with different range of mobile phones.

My last phone Samsung Galaxy S Advance was gifted to me by my wife two and half years ago. At that time that was the best in that budget. It was a good phone.. But...

But now, I thought putting 20K away for a phone was not that great idea. My phone screen got damaged due to my carelessness. So got the Mauka to buy a new phone.
Researched (I love this word) on mobile phones and decided to buy Lenovo A6000.

My Criteria for this choice - Light Weight (about 130g), Sleek (8.2mm), dual sim and the best part a HD 5 inch screen IPS and Dolby...

After i got registered for the sale at Flipkart and got thourgh the whole process of buying in a breeze, and getting the phone delivered the very next day, I realised , I made a really good choice.

When there are people around showing off Xiomi, Gionee, Motorolla and Samsung's , the Lenovo A 6000 stands out.

The phone is absolutely good in terms of display, sound, weight, size and user interface.

The biggest positive of this phone is the battery life, with a 2300mah full charged battery, the phone lasts for more than a day and half with normal usage of phone calls, catching the movie to and fro in a metro from Dwarka  to Kaushambi i.e. 2 x 1hr 10 minutes, WiFi & data usage all day.

The negative is the camera which is a 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front... The rear camera is no where comparable to a Sony/ Samsung,  but definitely better than a Micromax, Lava, and the likes...But the front camera is definitely much better for a 2MP cam. Video chatting is smooth on this phone.. 1 gb ram makes life easier with different apps working in the background.. There is no freezing of frames or hanging of phone.

The phone comes with 8gb internal memory where only around 4 gb is available for general use, so an external memory is absolutely necessary for movies and pics. It supports 32GB external memory card.

Definitely worth a buy for Rs.6999/- and thus i can understand the vanishing of 40000 phones in 3 seconds on Flipkart this March 11.
